She received the Commonwealth Youth Award from HM the Queen and is Sri Lanka's first female World Economic Forum New Champion.
She currently serves as the Regional Coordinator of the Royal Commonwealth Society.

She is a graduate of the University of Cambridge's Judge Business School and is a product of Bishop's College, Sri Lanka.
